Our Story

Gun-related injuries, whether from responsible or irresponsible use, are both a public health crisis and a human rights crisis.  Our work focuses especially on the impact of gun violence on children and teens and the hidden toll it takes on families and the community.

Why this work matters

It provides a first-hand view of how gun violence changes lives forever.  Being in the presence of grieving families has inspired a commitment to do more than mourn. It's time to educate, prevent, and help communities choose safer paths.

How We Help

Our role is to educate and inform the community about the real-life consequences of gun violence stories and impacts that many people do not think about until it is too late.  By raising awareness, we aim to reduce both irresponsible and seemingly responsible behaviors that can still lead to devastating firearm injuries.
